Meet your guide in central Florence and set off on an incredible journey between the picturesque villages of Cinque Terre by bus, boat, and train.
The Cinque Terre is a beautiful stretch of rugged coast and the only unspoilt part left of the lovely Italian Riviera. It takes its name from the five picturesque fishing villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Led by your knowledgeable guide, your first stop will be Riomaggiore or Manarola, where you will see colourful houses, churches and picturesque shops overlooking the sea. From there you will visit the enchanting village of Vernazza, where your guide will lead you through the narrow alleys and charming squares to the harbour.
You'll then board a boat (weather permitting), where you can witness the spectacular coastline from this unique perspective and onto Monterosso, known for its lovely beach and hills. You'll also have ample free time to explore, visit the beach for a dip in the Mediterranean or relax before heading back to Florence.
